On January 15th-16th 2010, James King guest
appeared with Lorraine Jordan and Carolina Road
in Richlands, North Carolina. Here are some photos and video clips
of James and Lorraine with her band backing
James.
Also that night, Justin Banks got to jam backstage with James and Carolina
Road, before performing onstage with Lorraine.

Sunday, January 17th,
there was a benefit for James and Julie's cat, Emerson, who was mauled by a wild animal on November 12,
2009. Due to the enormous veterinary costs the family incurred, James' bluegrass family
stepped up and helped out. We want to thank each and every person who made
that day possible. Everyone at the Berkeley Cafe, in Raleigh, North Carolina were very
supportive, and made for a wonderful venue. We'd also like to thank the bluegrass gospel band
"Mirror Image", mirrorimagebluegrass@gmail.com who
traveled from Denver, North Carolina, in order to give their time and effort to support James'
cause. Most of all, NONE of this would have been possible had it not been for the heart of Lorraine
Jordan, www.carolinaroadband.com . It is her
unconditional love of animals, and of her own canine traveling companion, J.D. Crowe, that inspired
her to help. Below are a few clips of that evening's show.
